Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician and become a vital part of ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of equipment and systems to keep our environment safe, efficient, and reliable. Your mechanical expertise and proactive approach will help us deliver top-notch service and uphold high standards of safety and functionality across all areas of our operations. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan. Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes quickly and accurately. Repair or replace faulty components in appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct service technician tasks including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical failures, replacing parts, and testing repaired systems for proper operation. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate precise repairs and installations. Assist with construction or upgrade projects by providing technical support and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Lead or collaborate with team members during complex repairs or installations to ensure timely completion while maintaining safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related maintenance roles with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints effectively. Service technician experience with a focus on troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment. Strong understanding of equipment repair procedures along with general maintenance practices. Construction or building maintenance experience is a plus for supporting facility upgrades or renovations. Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork and supervision when needed.
