Job Description

Join one of GCI's dynamic and welcoming communities as an On-Site Maintenance Technician at our Pine Ridge apartment community in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. This unique opportunity includes a FREE two-bedroom apartment and paid CFC training. We provide competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. In this role, you will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to foster a collaborative environment while delivering outstanding service to our residents. Our Maintenance Technicians play a vital role in preserving the quality, safety, and appearance of the community, directly contributing to resident satisfaction and retention.
What You'll Do:
Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the community for all residents. Apply your troubleshooting expertise to respond promptly and professionally to a variety of residential service requests. Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing repairs related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, pools, and building exteriors. Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to create a community residents are proud to call home.
Requirements What We're Looking For:
Minimum of 2 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, HVAC systems, and building exterior repairs. Strong commitment to customer service with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and team members. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call schedules as needed. Ability to live on-site in the provided two-bedroom apartment.
Education, Licenses & Certifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. EPA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) along with hands-on HVAC repair experience. Why Join GCI?
