Facilities Maintenance Technician (Strong Plumbing Experience Preferred)
AIY Properties Pay:
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our growing property management team. We are looking for a hands-on professional with strong plumbing skills and experience maintaining multi-family residential communities. $28-$30 per hour Weekly gas stipend (amount varies by property location) Benefits package available Stable, long-term employment Supportive team environment Rotating on-call schedule ( every 3 weeks ) Facilities Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Receive, prioritize, and complete service requests in a timely manner Diagnose and perform repairs on HVAC systems as needed (major repairs handled by HVAC technicians) Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, toilets, sinks, and fixtures Repair and replace household appliances including refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers Perform minor electrical repairs including light fixtures, switches, and outlets Repair locks, doors, windows, shelving, and other carpentry-related items Prepare vacant apartment units for new residents Assist with pool maintenance and general property upkeep Maintain curb appeal and assist with landscaping duties Communicate professionally with residents, leasing staff, and property management Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies Facilities Maintenance Technician Qualifications 1-3 years of apartment maintenance or multi-family residential maintenance experience Strong plumbing experience required Knowledge of appliance repair, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and general carpentry Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical duties including bending, climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and kneeling Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday Rotating On-Call Schedule (Every 3 Weeks) If you're a maintenance professional with strong plumbing skills looking for a long-term opportunity with a reputable property management company, apply today!
