Maintenance Technician - First Shift | $20 per hour

Catoosa Location Maintenance Technician Pay Rate and Hours:

$20 per hour, plus depending on experience 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (with possible overtime), Monday - Friday About the Role The Maintenance Technician will oversee multiple locations and perform various tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They will install and inspect machines and electrical equipment and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure industrial machines remain operational. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation. Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts. Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments. Maintains inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies. Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance. Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Requisition supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. Must have reliable transportation to maintain multiple company facilities. Performs other related duties as assigned. Maintenance Technician Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's degree or technical school training preferred. 5+ years of related mechanical experience working in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred. Valid Driver's License and Proof of Insurance. Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment. In-depth knowledge of system maintenance. Able to follow instructions from supervisors. Familiarity with safety standards and regulations. Excellent organizational and time management. Good communication, basic computer, and reporting writing skills. Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment.
