Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate mechanical knowledge across various systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe and functional environment for all occupants. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general facilities upkeep. Fabricate and install components as needed to ensure optimal functionality of equipment and systems. Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces from wear. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and addressing tenant concerns effectively. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inventory of supplies used. Weld components as necessary for repairs or fabrication tasks, this is a plus. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively. Proficiency in residential painting techniques and practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Leadership abilities to guide team members during projects or repairs. Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings is essential. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Must live within the Elk City city limits. Must be able to pass a drug test.
