Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician / Builder Remodeler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the build out of new cabins, maintaining, repairing, and remodeling our facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment. Your expertise in construction, renovation, and maintenance will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your hands-on skills across a variety of projects, from routine repairs to complex remodels, all while supporting our commitment to excellence and safety. Responsibilities Build the new cabins as we begin our resort expansion. Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, painting, and drywall repair to keep facilities in optimal condition Lead remodeling projects such as cabinetry installation, flooring upgrades, tile laying, and fixture installation with precision and attention to detail Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for carpentry, masonry, roofing, and concrete finishing tasks Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute renovation or repair projects Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all phases of work Fabricate or modify structural components using welding, concrete forming, plastering, or stucco techniques as needed Manage construction site activities including heavy equipment operation and site cleanup to maintain a safe work environment Assist with restoration projects involving glass installation, door hanging, trim carpentry, or hardscape work Coordinate with team members or contractors on schematics review and project planning for efficient execution Skills Extensive experience with construction management principles and estimating processes Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics for various trades including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry Strong knowledge of construction inspection procedures to uphold quality standards Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation Expertise in diverse construction disciplines such as masonry, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, framing carpentry, and fixture installation Ability to perform concrete finishing, masonry work including stucco application and concrete forming techniques Knowledge of restoration processes including welding and fabrication techniques for structural repairs Familiarity with Bluebeam software or similar digital markup tools is a plus for project documentation Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges Join us in creating safe and inspiring spaces!
