Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician $23-$27/hr Monday-Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of our facility. You will be responsible for adhering to safety protocols, conducting equipment checks, performing basic maintenance tasks, and supporting the upkeep of building systems. Responsibilities Conduct regular equipment and system checks to identify issues and document performance. Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Service and maintain docks, commercial doors, locks, and hardware. Complete preventative maintenance tasks such as filter changes, oil changes, and lubrication. Assist with building upkeep including patching, painting, and lighting repairs. Document work in the CMMS system and recommend updates to maintenance plans. Participate in required safety training and follow life-critical work procedures. Essential Skills Ability to use hand and small/large power tools. Proficiency in disassembling and reassembling fixtures, fans, pumps, and HVAC equipment. Demonstrated general plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills. Understanding of building systems and operations including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, Life Safety Systems, and building envelope. Competent operation of a forklift, scissor lift, and aerial lift. Proficient use of a personal computer, cell phone, and electronic tablet. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, some college or trade school preferred. 4 years' experience and/or training in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry skills/concepts or equivalent combination of training, education, and manufacturing maintenance experience. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
