Overview We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ashland Springs Hotel in downtown Ashland. This energetic role offers the opportunity to maintain and troubleshoot a variety of manufacturing and hospitality-related equipment across our facilities. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a proactive attitude, and a passion for ensuring operational excellence through hands-on maintenance and repair. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics, precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Repair and maintain industrial machinery including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage equipment, and HVAC/R units. Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts safely to access hard-to-reach areas or perform repairs. Document maintenance activities accurately using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and asset history. Follow safety protocols related to high voltage systems, welding (including <
LOCATION
> welding), and industrial electrician practices. Collaborate with team members to analyze equipment performance issues and implement effective solutions promptly. Experience Two years of experience working in an hospitality or manufacturing facility with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical troubleshooting. Hands-on knowledge of industrial maintenance procedures including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding, schematics reading, and mechanical repairs. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and analysis skills. Prior experience in field service roles or customer service environments is highly valued. Military background or industrial mechanic experience is considered an asset.
