Put down roots at any of our five locations and unearth your full potential. We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Tech 2 to join our Maintenance Department. This role involves performing intermediate level tasks such as solving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and facilities. (Dis)assembling and installing new machines, monitoring sensors and equipment. Servicing and repairing all fleet vehicles.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform intermediate maintenance duties, such as installation and maintenance of equipment, emergency/unscheduled equipment repairs, and scheduled maintenance repairs as directed. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to prolong their lifespan and prevent breakdowns. Perform Intermediate electrical, plumbing, maintenance and construction functions. Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support overall operations. Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in equipment and other facility issues. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders on CMMS. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures. Read and interpret equipment manuals. Assist with other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
Intermediate level in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Must be highly motivated and able to work independently. Excellent communication skills, in person, verbal and written. Ability to work well with or without direct supervision. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years of experience in semi- skilled maintenance or related field. Two or more years of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, welding and plumbing experience preferred. A trade school or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Flexibility in working hours, holidays and weekend as required. Work indoors and outdoors, exposure to varying temperatures and humidity levels. Ability to lift to 75 pounds and perform physical labor, including climbing ladders and working in various environmental conditions. Capacity to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods. Perform duties using hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. Able to provide own hand tools.

PAY RANGE
$23.50 - 27.50 Pay rate is determined by various components including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The pay rate is one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards vary by position and location.
