Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a Swimming Pool and Spa Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the daily maintenance, cleanliness, and code compliance of multiple pools and spas throughout Canby, Wilsonville, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and able to troubleshoot and repair equipment with confidence. This role requires a proactive approach to water chemistry, equipment care, and overall facility presentation. This role will include other duties as assigned, such as pressure washing and light property management maintenance work. Key Responsibilities Daily pool cleaning and servicing, including debris removal from pools and spas using nets, vacuums, brushes, and other tools. Maintain and clean pool decks. Pressure washing pool decks Perform daily water testing to ensure proper chemical balance and compliance with state standards. Keep equipment rooms clean, organized, and safe, ensuring all systems are operating correctly. Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a professional, customer‑focused demeanor at all times. Requirements Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair pool and spa equipment. We are an authorized Hayward dealer and warranty center. Knowledge of Hayward equipment is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time‑management skills with a commitment to reliability and punctuality. Physical capability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and moving equipment or supplies as needed. Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
