Our Maintenance Tech position is a key position of leadership that requires excellent communication and responsible for completing maintenance repairs and performing preventative maintenance throughout the property. The Maintenance Tech is responsible for assisting with the scheduling and/or maintenance of turnover of units and providing quality customer care and services to existing and prospective residents. This is a team position that also helps in the maintaining of the grounds and provides assistance in capital improvement projects as assigned by Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to: diagnosing problems and making repairs, appliance installation and repair, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring (carpet/tile), interior/exterior lighting, dry wall work, painting, pool maintenance, roofing (when needed), structural, concrete and asphalt. The candidate needs to be able to answer emergency calls and provide "on call" support when necessary. Our ideal candidate is positive, energetic and displays excellent customer service skills.
Requirements include:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of residential property maintenance
  • Working knowledge of household appliances
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing and carpentry
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 100 lbs
  • Must be willing to use personal vehicle to travel for business purposes
  • Possess current Driver's license for off-site trainings, meetings and purchasing supplies
