Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and dependable person to join our team as a Engineering Technician in the Portland area.
Job Duties:
Ensuring equipment in all areas of hotel and restaurant are properly functioning Maintaining the appearance of the interior and exterior of the building Administrative duties such as scheduling, vendor relations and training will be taught and assigned at the discretion of the Engineering Manager Assisting our guests with any maintenance or service needs that may arise Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance to manufacturers' specifications. Maintenance and repair of all property equipment including air condition, heater, ventilation, refrigeration and irrigation systems, related HVAC equipment; plumbing, electrical, food/beverage, courts, pools and laundry equipment. Maintenance and repair which can include touch up; replace light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, wall coverings, caulking, grouting or miscellaneous repairs. Perform duties requiring experience in using basic hand and power tools. Communicate supply needs and job status to appropriate supervisor in a timely manner. Adhere to all work order policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Two years of building maintenance experience preferred. Maintenance knowledge, including HVAC, finish work, carpentry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, pool operations, and mechanical. Strong preventative maintenance background. Skilled in the use of related tools, including both hand and electric tools. Possession of government required licenses or certificates.
Ability to:
Work with minimal supervision. Communicate effectively and work well under pressure. Work cohesively as part of a team. Receive and follow both verbal and written instructions Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
