You will be responsible for completing all maintenance requests and upkeep of the properties. You will also be responsible for other duties directed to you by the property managers to make sure that the properties are running in optimal conditions to maximize resident retention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Proficiency in all the following areas desirable: apartment maintenance, plumbing, electricity, painting, drywall, floor coverings, carpentry, locks and appliances.  Experience with historic property maintenance a plus! Most properties were built around the 1920s (some older, some newer).  Compliant with all OSHA laws and regulations  Maintain a professional, courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors and fellow employees at all times.  Ability to effectively present information and communicate verbally and in writing.  Collaborates with property manager to ensure that maintenance of the building and apartment units are to company standards.  Must clear background and drug test.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience:
1+ years related experience in apartment maintenance is a must.  Must be proficient in all areas of apartment maintenance to include plumbing, electricity, painting, drywall, floor coverings, carpentry, locks and appliances.  Valid state issued drivers' license.  Authorized to work in the United States.  Must have your own tools and vehicle. (mileage will be reimbursed)
COMPENSATION
 $26-30 per hour with benefits, paid holidays and paid vacations.  Possibility to live on-site in an apartment as part of compensation.
