  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our hospitality team at the Hampton Inn Redmond Bend Airport.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities and the satisfaction of our guests. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment, conducting inspections and repairs, and providing exceptional customer service on a daily basis. Responsibilities Perform routine property maintenance and repairs on various systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Supervise maintenance staff as needed and coordinate repair schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks. Utilize any/all available resources and experience to troubleshoot and resolve a wide variety of technical and mechanical issues. Conduct painting, caulking and other general maintenance tasks throughout the property. Perform bi-annual preventative maintenance on guestrooms to ensure all amenities remain in pristine condition over time. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory of supplies and annual inspections. Respond promptly to service requests from team members and guests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Operate tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to assess system performance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various systems. Proficient in electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and troubleshooting techniques. Experience in general property maintenance and a willingness to take on new challenges. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Familiarity with painting techniques and materials. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Strong logical reasoning skills to analyze problems and implement effective solutions. Capability to maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
