Position Summary The dual role of Maintenance Technician / Inspector supports the overall quality, functionality, and presentation of vacation rental properties in accordance with company standards. This role is responsible for conducting inspections, performing maintenance, and ensuring properties are guest-ready at all times. The Employee works closely with Property Managers, Inspectors, and cleaning teams to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and property performance. Areas of Responsibility and Duties Travel efficiently between properties within an assigned territory to conduct inspections and respond to issuesPerform detailed inspections to ensure cleanliness, proper staging, inventory levels, and full functionality of appliances and systems prior to guest arrivalsOversee the condition and readiness of residential rental properties, ensuring company standards are consistently metPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, basic troubleshooting)Identify, document, and communicate major maintenance issues requiring vendor or contractor supportPrepare properties for guest and owner arrivals by coordinating cleaning, restocking supplies, and conducting final walkthroughsManage and track inventory including linens, toiletries, and property essentialsDeliver requested items to guests during their stay, ensuring a high level of customer serviceMaintain accurate and timely records of inspections, maintenance requests, and inventoryCollaborate with Property Managers, Inspectors, and cleaning teams to ensure seamless property turnover and operationsAssist in training Inspectors and Cleaners on job responsibilities, quality standards, and expectationsSupport scheduling of inspections, maintenance activities, and cleaning staff as neededProvide clear and detailed communication and documentation of property issues to the Operations ManagerPerform additional duties as assigned As part of our application process, we invite you to complete the Culture Index survey.
