Maintenance Technician Job Description Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will diagnose and repair high-speed packaging equipment. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining bottle and can fillers, seamers, labelers, and inspection systems, among other specialized machinery. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair high-speed packaging equipment, including bottle and can fillers, seamers, labelers, date coders, and inspection systems. Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on packaging line components such as bearings, belts, gearboxes, and chain drives. Conduct root cause analysis for process/product nonconformances such as loose seams, fill volume discrepancies, and line jams. Read mechanical drawings, schematics, and piping diagrams to support equipment checks, changeovers, and overhauls. Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs for packaging assets. Work safely around conveyors, rotating machinery, high voltage areas, confined spaces, and elevated work platforms. Safely operate forklifts and aerial lift equipment. Essential Skills Expertise in packaging equipment, VFDs, and PLC systems. Proficiency in mechanical power transmission and pneumatic/hydraulic systems. Ability to troubleshoot fillers, seamers, labelers, packers, palletizers, sensors, photo-eyes, limit switches, and HMI alarms. Additional Skills & Qualifications Hands-on packaging line maintenance experience in high-speed manufacturing facilities such as food & beverage, brewery, soda, or dairy. Awareness of
