Overview The main function of a Mobile Facility Maintenance Technician is to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across multiple locations. The role requires technical expertise in one craft area such as electrical, HVAC, piping/plumbing, or central utility plant operations, with the ability to be multi-skilled in other areas. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and monitor repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems to ensure facilities meet applicable standards. Travel between multiple facilities to ensure proper function of systems. Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, contracted maintenance, and general maintenance. Perform maintenance tasks including cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and changing parts to optimize HVAC system performance. Record readings and make necessary adjustments for proper equipment operation. Ensure compliance with safety policies for hazardous materials storage, usage, and disposal, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Conduct periodic checks of tool and instrument inventories. Monitor the quality and pricing of work performed by outside contractors. Follow safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and recognize hazards to propose elimination methods. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. 5-7 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. EPA 608 Type II Certification. Working knowledge of Word and Excel. Valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications EPA 608 Universal Certification. Two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC. #ind123 We thank all applicants for their interest.
