Job Description

Our client is currently seeking or in need of a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania . This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical ability, troubleshooting experience, and a hands-on approach to keeping production and facility equipment operating properly. The Maintenance Technician will support daily operations by performing repairs, completing preventive maintenance, and helping reduce equipment downtime. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, organized, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a production support team.
The Day-to-Day:
Complete preventive maintenance on equipment throughout the facility, including vacuum glass lifters, silicone pumps, production machines, and related systems. Maintain and repair equipment in the maintenance shop and on the production floor. Troubleshoot equipment issues by observing machinery in operation and identifying the source of malfunctions. Respond to maintenance calls assigned by the supervisor in a timely and professional manner. Perform monthly safety inspections in assigned areas throughout the facility. Complete minor drywall and painting repairs as needed. Handle small electrical repairs in office areas, including LED bulbs, drivers, and similar components. Help control downtime by completing preventive maintenance, repairing breakdowns, and coordinating work around production schedules. Repair and rebuild parts using machining capabilities when required. Monitor maintenance supplies by checking stock, placing orders, and verifying received materials. Follow company safety standards, procedures, and applicable regulations to help maintain a safe work environment. Train production operators on proper use and care of tools, machinery, and equipment. Stay current on job knowledge by reviewing technical materials and participating in educational opportunities when available. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience with robotics and automation preferred. Knowledge of project engineering planning and execution is a plus. Ability to support downtime elimination, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions and timelines. Must follow all company policies and safety procedures. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active maintenance environment. Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to support a fast-paced facility.
Pay Rate:
$30.00 to $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00
