The position includes participation in a fully funded, 8,000-hour Department of Labor Maintenance Mechanic apprenticeship program that leads to a recognized certification and broad technical skill development. Candidates must have a strong mechanical inclination and experience with electrical troubleshooting.

What you will learn:

Certification in schematics, lubrication, building services, welding & cutting, piping, mechanical power transmission, rigging, electrical equipment systems, and welding.

Pay Rate:

$29.45/hour to start

1st and 3rd shift Top skills: Electrical Troubleshooting Mechanical Troubleshooting Hydraulics Conveyors Preventative maintenance Responsibilities Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Conduct regular greasing, lubrication, and preventive maintenance on bearings, conveyors, rollers, and other moving components. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on motors, engines, hydraulic systems, conveyors, and related equipment. Assist with electrical troubleshooting and repair of equipment and systems when applicable and within skill set. Support breakdown and teardown activities on production lines, particularly during periods of line tear-outs and new line installations. Interpret and work from mechanical and electrical schematics as part of maintenance and repair tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Carlisle, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $61256.00 - $72571.00/yr.
