This position combines customer service, project coordination, showroom consultation, and material selection responsibilities to ensure a seamless customer experience from quote through installation. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, managing multiple projects, and helping customers bring their vision to life through thoughtful product selection and exceptional service. This role works closely with homeowners, dealer partners, Strategic Account Managers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of customer satisfaction. Build strong relationships through exceptional customer service and communication. Process orders and maintain accurate project information from quote through installation. Coordinate template, installation, service, and remake scheduling. Manage post-installation inquiries and service-related concerns. Update project quotations based on customer selections and project changes. Communicate project updates, scheduling adjustments, and other key information via phone and email. Work closely with Strategic Account Managers and internal departments to support successful project outcomes. Participate in dealer trainings, customer visits, and relationship-building activities. Design Center Support Host Design Center appointments and guide homeowners through countertop material selections. Assist customers in selecting natural stone, quartz, sinks, edge profiles, and related products. Educate customers on materials, design options, products, and services. Facilitate SlabSmith appointments and support customer decision-making. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate records of customer selections. Requote projects based on final selections and communicate information to internal teams. Maintain showroom displays, samples, and merchandising. Assist with inventory tracking, material ordering, and delivery coordination. Participate in customer events and initiatives that promote Classic Rock products and services. Schedule Requirements This position requires availability to work up to one evening per week and every other Saturday as needed.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients. Passion for natural stone and design, with an in-depth understanding of product offerings. Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to handle multiple customer needs and business operations simultaneously. Familiarity with design and product selection processes and the ability to consult with customers to achieve the best outcomes. Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain showroom displays. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing appointment schedules, materials, and inventory. Must be available to work evenings and weekends, alternating with other design center staff.
