Maintenance Technician Rising Stride Child Care Center - 2.5 Drexel Hill, PA Job Details Full-time $28 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Landscape maintenance Maintenance Property maintenance Driver's License Mechanical knowledge Facilities maintenance Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to help keep our child care center clean, safe, and in good working condition. This role focuses on general repairs, routine upkeep, and responding to day-to-day maintenance needs.
Pay Rate:
$30 per hourLocation:
Drexel Hill and Woodlyn, PA (Delaware County) Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility
- Fix doors, locks, cabinets, furniture, and other basic items
- Complete simple plumbing repairs (leaks, clogs, fixture replacements)
- Handle spot painting and touch-ups on walls, doors, and trim
- Replace light bulbs, filters, and other basic maintenance items
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff
- Assist with basic weatherproofing (sealing gaps, drafts, etc.)
- Keep tools, equipment, and supplies organized
- Assist with coordinating outside contractors for larger repairs Qualifications
- Experience in general maintenance or handyman work preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Ability to lift, climb, and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to access, follow instructions, and enter updates to shared online maintenance list.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Work Environment
- Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks
