Maintenance Mechanic:
Monday-Sunday:
6am-630pm OR 6pm-630am (2-2-3 schedule - 12 hour days: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off) $30-37/hr. based on experience Weekly pay Healthcare benefits after 30 days Job Responsibilities for Maintenance Mechanic:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery, equipment, and systems, including conveyors, feeders, mills, and kilns Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing issues to ensure the smooth operation of the plant Follow safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs, inspections, and repairs Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and regulatory standards. Job Requirements for Maintenance Mechanic:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance - preferable in manufacturing setting Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of manufacturing equipment not limited to conveyors, feeders, mills, and kilns Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and communications skills Ability to work in an environment with dust and noise, and around equipment with higher than ambient temperatures Ability to perform manual lifting, standing, bending for periods of time Must pass drug and background screenings PeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
