Job Description

Franklin Precision Castings is a leading investment casting foundry specializing in high-quality precision castings for a variety of industries. Our 50,000-square-foot facility located in Franklin, Pennsylvania is home to a dedicated team of skilled professionals committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

As our Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping our foundry equipment, machinery, and facility operating efficiently while helping drive the success of our production team.

Sunday - Thursday | 9:00 PM - 5:00 AMKey ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on foundry equipment, machinery, and facility systems Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues Maintain and service production equipment such as furnaces, compressors, pumps, conveyors, grinders, and other industrial machinery Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and support production needs Complete work orders and document repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts usage accurately Inspect equipment regularly to identify wear, safety concerns, or potential failures Assist with installation, setup, and relocation of machinery or production equipment Maintain a safe, clean, and organized maintenance shop and work environment Work collaboratively with supervisors and production teams to prioritize repairs and improvements Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and quality standards Required QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical troubleshooting Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively Ability to read manuals, schematics, and maintenance instructions Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing, and reaching Dependable attendance and ability to work assigned 3rd shift schedule Preferred SkillsPLC troubleshooting experience Experience in manufacturing, foundry, or heavy industrial environment Welding and fabrication experience Forklift or aerial lift experience Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems or CMMS software If you are driven, dependable, and take pride in keeping equipment running at peak performance, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
