Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pool Technician and become a vital part of ensuring sparkling, safe, and well-maintained swimming pools. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing routine pool maintenance, cleaning, and equipment repairs to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Your expertise will help create inviting aquatic environments that promote relaxation, safety, and enjoyment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in pool care while working in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Responsibilities Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining water clarity. Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as checking and adjusting chemical levels to ensure water safety and quality. Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or coordinate repairs as needed. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to repair or replace faulty equipment components. Maintain detailed records of service visits, chemical treatments, repairs performed, and equipment status. Respond promptly to client requests for troubleshooting issues or emergency repairs to uphold high standards of service. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while handling chemicals and operating equipment. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair or maintenance. Prior experience as a service technician or in a similar pool maintenance role is preferred. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools necessary for repair tasks. Strong understanding of pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing procedures. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
