Job Description

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment across production and support areas. Inspect equipment to identify wear, damage, or potential failure points and take corrective action. Follow and uphold all safety protocols, including LOTO procedures and hazard identification. Execute maintenance tasks on mechanical systems including drive components, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Support basic troubleshooting and repairs identified during preventative maintenance activities. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to support maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance work, inspections, and findings. Assist in updating maintenance procedures and documentation for continuous improvement. Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to schedule and complete PM activities efficiently. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime. Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices in an industrial environment. Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical and electrical systems. Familiarity with mechanical systems (drives, pneumatics, hydraulics). Understanding of electrical components and control systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Commitment to safety and safe work practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in industrial maintenance or preventative maintenance programs. Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation. Basic experience with PLCs and automated equipment preferred. Technical training in mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical systems preferred. Flexibility to work varied hours as needed to support maintenance schedules. Strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.
