Job Description

Carclo is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team. This position is responsible for supporting production operations through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and facility operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Maintain and repair injection molding machines, automation equipment, robotics, conveyors, assembly equipment, and auxiliary systems. Troubleshoot electrical systems including motors, sensors, controls, AC/DC circuits, and 480V 3-phase equipment. Assist with automation troubleshooting including robotics, PLC-controlled equipment, and automated production cells. Complete equipment inspections, adjustments, rebuilds, and installations as needed. Support continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation. Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Tooling teams to resolve equipment concerns. Assist with facility maintenance including compressors, chillers, HVAC, lighting, and building systems. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 6S principles. Follow all company safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety practices, and PPE requirements. Participate in root cause analysis activities to prevent repeat equipment failures. Support production needs while promoting Carclo's Goal Zero safety culture .
Qualifications & Skills Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Experience with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring equipment, and maintenance equipment. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings. Basic computer skills for documentation and maintenance systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience:
Plastic injection molding equipment. PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley preferred). Robotics and automation systems. Electrical troubleshooting including 480V systems. Pneumatics and hydraulics. Preventative maintenance programs. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and work around manufacturing equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Work Monday through Friday 8 hour 1st shift schedule, with the ability to do OT as needed.
EOE Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
