Job Description

Join the Amazing Team at New Vitae Wellness and Recovery Great Pay Rate, Benefits, Schedule, and Company Culture! New Vitae Wellness and Recovery is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician. Conducts repairs on company property in an efficient and workmanlike manner to include carpentry, plumbing, painting and mechanical Assists supervisors in identifying current and future maintenance needs. Watches out for safety and fire hazards and reports them promptly or takes direct action to eliminate them. Assists other maintenance personnel in maintaining efficient operation of the building, including cleanup, inventory control and tool control. Plays a major role in the general upkeep of the company property: road maintenance, lawn and field mowing, erosion control and snow removal. Conducts upkeep for the inside of the building to ensure it remains up to code. Must be flexible and willing to do new things having to do with minor construction. Performs maintenance on resident's rooms when needed Supports the maintenance system by completing all paperwork, logs, checklist, and forms Other duties as assigned by Management.
Skills:
Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting and mechanical Ability to interact with employees, public, clients and their families in highly professional manner. Good judgment and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Highly organized. Excellent time management, punctuality and reliability required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Emotional stability and personal adjustment to act as a role-model for residents. Able to lift up to a minimum of 50 pounds.
Education Requirement:
H.S. Diploma or GED. 1 year experience Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License New Vitae Wellness and Recovery (NVWR) is an equal opportunity employer.
