MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations in our heat treating facility located in Meadville, PA. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, the ability to read and interpret electrical prints, and hands-on mechanical skills. HVAC experience is a plus. This role requires responding to trouble calls and ensuring equipment uptime and reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics — Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues. Electrical Print Reading — Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control prints for diagnostics and repairs. Preventive Maintenance — Complete scheduled PM tasks on motors, pumps, fans, and facility systems. Fabrication & Welding — Perform light to moderate fabrication, cutting, grinding, and welding for equipment repair and modification. Respond to Trouble Calls — Provide timely response to equipment failures, alarms, and urgent maintenance needs. General Maintenance — Support repairs on mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and facility infrastructure.
QUALIFICATIONS
Electrical Knowledge — Ability to read electrical prints and perform electrical diagnostics. Troubleshooting Skills — Strong mechanical and electrical problem-solving abilities. Fabrication & Welding — Experience with MIG/TIG welding, cutting, and fabrication tools. Preferred but not required. HVAC Experience — Preferred but not required. Industrial Maintenance Background — Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus. Ability to lift 50 lbs., work in various environments, and respond to after-hours calls as needed.
