Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has a diverse range of repair and maintenance skills and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. This role is essential in keeping our clients' homes and properties safe, functional, and well-maintained. You'll be working full-time with a steady schedule—no downtime or chasing jobs. We provide a tools and support staff to handle all paperwork and scheduling, so you can focus on the work you do best. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties, including: Carpentry and drywall repairs Plumbing (minor repairs, leaks, fixture installations) Painting and finishing work Installation of wooden, metal, and composite railings (indoor & outdoor) Installation of household fixtures (toilet paper holders, towel bars, shelving, mirrors/pictures, etc.) Fence repairs and installations Masonry repairs (mortar, brick, retaining walls, concrete patching) Wood rot repairs around windows, doors, and exterior trim Light landscaping and exterior upkeep such as grass cutting, trimming, mulching, and small yard projects Fixture, appliance, and equipment installation Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times, leaving each project neat and presentable for the customer. Operate and care for the company-provided work vehicle and tools responsibly, ensuring they remain in excellent condition. Communicate clearly with clients about timelines, progress, and additional needs. Collaborate with other tradespeople on larger projects when necessary. Accurately track work performed and materials used. Qualifications Proven experience as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques. Skilled with hand tools and power tools; ability to work safely and efficiently. Broad knowledge in carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and home remodeling. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license required for travel between job sites.
