Bowling Lane Mechanic & Facility Maintenance Technician at Hampton Lanes Hampton Lanes Northampton, PA Job Details Part-time | Full-time 19 hours ago Qualifications Equipment malfunction troubleshooting High school diploma or GED Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Hampton Lanes is looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our bowling lanes, equipment, arcade, and facility running smoothly. This position is responsible for basic repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and responding quickly when equipment issues come up during business hours. This is a great fit for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced entertainment environment. Responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot bowling lanes, pinsetters, ball returns, scoring equipment, bumpers, and related bowling equipment. Respond to lane calls and equipment issues during open bowling, leagues, parties, and events. Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on bowling equipment. Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting in the arcade/game room, including game issues, card readers, ticket/prize machines, and general game room equipment. Help keep the game room clean, organized, and functioning properly. Perform general facility maintenance, including minor repairs, cleaning support, equipment checks, light plumbing, light electrical, painting, and basic building upkeep. Communicate with management about needed repairs, parts, safety concerns, or equipment issues. Keep tools, parts, work areas, and maintenance spaces organized. Follow all safety procedures when working around machines, tools, lanes, and electrical equipment. Work as part of the team to keep the guest experience smooth and enjoyable. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Mechanical or electrical experience preferred. Previous bowling center, arcade, amusement, maintenance, or repair experience is a plus. Must be comfortable working around machinery and learning bowling equipment systems. Ability to troubleshoot problems and make basic repairs. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to jump in where needed. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift, and work in tight or active areas. Must be available nights, weekends, holidays, and busy event times as needed. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys fixing problems, working with their hands, and keeping equipment running. This person should be comfortable working both behind the scenes and around guests when needed. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude are just as important as experience. Job Type Full-time / Part-time available Pay based on experience.
