Parkway West Career and Technology Center Position Overview:

Parkway West Career and Technology Center is seeking a dependable and motivated Facilities Support Technician employee to help maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start date.  Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep  Inspect, troubleshoot, and address maintenance issues throughout the building and grounds  Assist with preventative maintenance programs for building systems and equipment  Perform custodial duties as needed, including cleaning classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas  Set up and tear down rooms for meetings, events, and school activities  Ensure facilities meet cleanliness, safety, and operational standards  Maintain school grounds and exterior areas to ensure a safe and professional appearance  Assist with snow removal, salting, ice management, and seasonal grounds maintenance  Support outdoor facility repairs and improvements

Qualifications:

 High school diploma or equivalent preferred  Previous custodial, maintenance, or facilities experience preferred  Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, maintenance tools, and building systems  Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment or supplies as needed  Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail  Ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff

Certification and Support:

Parkway West CTC will assist the selected candidate in obtaining required clearances.

Compensation and Benefits:



Salary:
