Job Description

Description Normandy Farm Hotel & Blue Bell Country Club is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician who is interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. An exemplary work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing superior customer service are necessary for all applicants.
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience Saturday & Sunday 8-hour shift Day shift
Hotel Maintenance Service Technician Functions:
Maintenance and repair of plumbing systems. HVAC experience a plus All Guest room repairs -entry doors, wallpaper, curtains, toilet sink and shower mechanisms, lights and any other repairs as warranted. Execute a PM (preventive maintenance) program. Maintain a record of all materials while maintaining a working inventory of parts and supplies. Availability during off hours for emergencies. Miscellaneous tasks assigned by department managers. Occasional extended hour or non-standard shifts required to cover special events and holidays. (No overnight shifts) Maintain presentable appearance and be able to interact with guests in a manner that is consistent with company standards Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management Attends and participates in all training sessions and team meetings Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications are a plus Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Proficiency in English required Valid driver's license required Minimum of three (3) years of prior hotel experience, with an electrical and mechanical background Working knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems required
