Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the property by performing a wide range of repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance tasks. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic hospitality setting, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Duties Conduct routine inspections of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), and other building systems to identify issues before they impact operations Perform repairs using welding techniques, electrical troubleshooting with schematics, and mechanical adjustments to ensure optimal functioning of all facilities Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control building automation systems for energy efficiency and safety Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and equipment history Oversee facilities maintenance projects such as painting, carpentry, or small-scale renovations to uphold the property's aesthetic standards Supervise maintenance staff or contractors when necessary, providing leadership and ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently Respond promptly to emergency repair requests or safety concerns, coordinating with relevant teams or emergency services as needed Skills Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret schematics and use testing tools like ohmmeters for troubleshooting Mechanical knowledge encompassing HVAC systems, plumbing, welding, and general building maintenance Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation control systems Proficiency in residential painting techniques and basic carpentry skills for minor repairs and touch-ups Supervising experience in facilities or manufacturing environments with leadership capabilities Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and vendors Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance scheduling and record-keeping Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately Fluency in English for clear communication across teams and documentation Join us as a Hotel Maintenance Engineer where your technical expertise will directly impact guest experiences by maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment.
