APARTMENT MAINTENANCE - TECHNICIANS AND MAKE READY TECHNICIANS
We are an established Philadelphia-based Property Management Company seeking outgoing, motivated Apartment Maintenance and Make Ready Technicians for our busy multi-building portfolio of apartment buildings in the Old City and surrounding Philadelphia areas. These positions support the maintenance department in addressing the concerns and maintenance needs of our residents in a friendly and professional manner. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Apartment maintenance (i.e. electrical, plumbing and appliance repair). Apartment turnovers. Troubleshoot, repair and/or replace fixtures, toilets, light switches, appliances, garbage disposals, ceiling fans, etc. Preventative maintenance. Special building wide projects. Performs related work as required.
Position Requirements :
Candidates must be fully vaccinated against
COVID-19
to be considered for this position. Vaccination cards must be presented at the time of onboarding. High School diploma or equivalent. CFC License/Certification (preferred). Minimum 2-4 years' apartment maintenance experience in similar work environment of maintenance repairs for an Apartment Community. Meet physical demands of position. Must be able and willing to move appliances and use heavy equipment. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Must have valid driver's license and access to reliable vehicle when on-call. Must have own tools. Able to take on-call nights and weekends on a rotating basis (at least one week a month). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Pre-employment testing including criminal screenings. Competitive hourly rate plus health benefits including medical, dental, vision, long term disability, life insurance and voluntary supplemental benefits. Paid PTO and company 401(K).
