The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of the hotel's physical facilities.Essential Job Functions:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work and HVAC system maintenance.
- Address guest room issues and respond to maintenance requests.
- Makes structure repairs to masonry, woodwork and furnishings, patches or replaces paster, plasterboard, paint walls, ceilings and trim. Cut and lay flooring.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems.
- Maintain a log of all work performed including parts needed and/or parts used on all work requests. Follow work order procedures.
- Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times.
- Perform all other duties deemed necessary by management.
