Facilities Maintenance & Property Operations Technician 3E Real Estate Pittsburgh, PA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $26.83 - $32.31 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Qualifications Carpentry Maintenance Property maintenance HVAC Facilities maintenance Full Job Description Facilities Maintenance & Property Operations Technician We are seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance & Property Operations Technician to support a growing portfolio of 30+ commercial and residential properties across Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio, with the majority located in the Pittsburgh region.

Our properties include:

Restaurants / QSR locations Industrial warehouses Apartment buildings Single-family homes Gyms / fitness facilities Family entertainment / kids facilities Commercial and mixed-use properties This is a hands-on position for someone who is mechanically inclined, reliable, organized, and capable of handling day-to-day maintenance and operational support across multiple property types. Most work involves preventative maintenance, basic repairs, troubleshooting, and coordinating with outside contractors for larger projects or specialized work. Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance at various properties Handle basic repairs and troubleshooting including: Plumbing issues Lighting/electrical fixture replacement Door hardware/locks Painting and drywall touchups Minor carpentry Equipment troubleshooting General building upkeep Respond to maintenance requests from tenants, managers, and operations staff Conduct regular inspections of properties and identify maintenance needs proactively Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for larger repairs Assist with property turnovers, small renovation projects, and operational improvements Maintain maintenance logs, supply inventory, and service schedules Travel between locations as needed Assist with occasional emergency or off-hours maintenance situations Qualifications Experience in facilities maintenance, property maintenance, construction, or related field Strong general handyman/mechanical abilities Ability to diagnose and solve basic maintenance issues independently Comfortable working across residential, commercial, restaurant, and industrial environments Good communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift equipment/materials and perform physical work Dependable, responsive, and self-motivated Preferred Experience Restaurant or commercial facility maintenance HVAC, plumbing, or electrical knowledge Preventative maintenance scheduling Basic construction/remodeling Vendor coordination experience Compensation & Benefits Full-time stable position Competitive compensation based on experience Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle (if applicable) Opportunity for growth within a growing real estate and operating company Diverse work environment with no two days the same Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping properties operating smoothly, can handle everyday maintenance issues efficiently, and understands when to bring in outside contractors for larger or specialized repairs.
