Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year previous experience in a related field of maintenance. EPA Type I and/or II certifications preferred. This position will be part of the on-call rotation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Replaces filters and clears air condition vents in vacant apartments, occupied units, and on an as-needed basis Assists with the diagnosing and repair of resident service requests Handles "on call" and snow removal duties on an as-needed basis Assists with apartment make-readies Assists in picking up litter Other duties as assigned by supervisor Must own some basic tools for use on the job Must have own transportation to move around the community

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work full time 40 hours per week 1-2 years actual hands on experience Ability to assess problems and solve them with a strong sense of urgency A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business disciplines Strong communication skills HVAC certification Preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS IN ADDITION TO THOSE LISTED ABOVE

Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Position requires bending, lifting, kneeling, twisting, and performing installations at awkward angles. Work environment may include loud noises, dust, dirt, and minor hazards.
