The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and assembling a variety of mechanical equipment and/or machines, assisting others with assembly of new & rebuilt commercial mixing machines and discharge systems. This position requires a strong sense of common sense, self-motivation, and mechanical aptitude. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and alongside the rest of the team comfortably. This candidate will be able to read a tape measure accurately to a 1/16", be reliable, punctual, open minded, be able to follow directions and willing to learn. Previous experience with stainless tig welding, as a maintenance mechanic or manual lathe operator would be extremely helpful but not necessary. We may be willing to train the right individual to fit our current needs.
Responsibilities:
Assist with teardown & assembly of customers machines. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems. Perform preventative maintenance on building and shop equipment. Grounds and building maintenance. Maintain and repair shop vehicles/machines/tools. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems. Inspect equipment for safety and performance. Use hand tools, measuring tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment.
