Woodworking Full Job Description Job Summary:
This role requires a hands-on professional with experience in various trades, including plumbing, flooring preparation, and general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can handle a variety of repairs and upkeep duties to keep our facilities in excellent condition. Must be able to travel to different locations, a company vehicle will be provided.Schedule:
Sunday- Thursday or Tuesday
Saturday:
8 AM- 5
PM Pay:
$25.00 per hourLocation:
Reading, PA 19608Key Responsibilities:
Perform general plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing fixtures. Assist with flooring preparation, removing old flooring, leveling surfaces, and installing new materials.Conduct routine maintenance:
Proficient in electrical and mechanical components. Repair and maintain walls, ceilings, and other structural elements. Perform minor carpentry, painting, and drywall patching as needed. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, and keep the truck organized. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards. Troubleshoot and repair various maintenance issues as they arise. Maintain professional relationships with all staff/employees.Qualifications:
Certifications or licenses in plumbing or electrical work (a plus but not required). Minimum 2 years of handy work in general maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, flooring prep, or related fields. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs. objects, climb ladders, and perform hands-on work. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.Pre-Employment Requirements:
