Weekend Maintenance Technician

Our growing manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled, hands-on Weekend Maintenance Technician to support production operations and ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently during shift. This role requires a self-motivated technician who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment independently, as management presence may be limited on weekends. Schedule Options (3 x 12-Hour Shifts)

Day Shift:

Friday

Weekend Differential:

Day Shift $3.00 Key Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on rotational molding machines and processing equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues. Monitor equipment performance to prevent unplanned downtime. Collaborate with production to improve operational efficiency. Maintain maintenance logs and parts inventory records. Stay current with the latest maintenance techniques and industry standards. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment and ensuring a clean work environment. Provide hands-on operational support when needed, including forklift operation, material handling, mixing, and assisting with production duties during call-offs or PTO coverage. Required Skills & Experience MIG/TIG/Oxy-acetylene welding experience Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience PLC experience (GE preferred) Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge 480v, three-phase electrical experience Fabrication, metal fitting, and tool repair experience Minimum 2 years maintenance experience in manufacturing Technical or vocational training preferred Physical Requirements Regular lifting up to 50 lbs Standing, walking, bending, and full range of motion Exposure to moving mechanical parts and loud environments Why Join Us?
