Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be adept at troubleshooting and repairing various mechanical and electrical systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that our facilities operate smoothly and efficiently, providing a safe and comfortable environment for all. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues and ensure proper functionality. Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential maintenance needs and safety hazards. Fabricate components as needed to support repairs or improvements. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Collaborate with other team members to address maintenance requests promptly and effectively. Provide excellent customer service by responding to facility-related inquiries from staff and visitors. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Proficient in electrical work, including understanding of logic controllers. Familiarity with facilities maintenance best practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
