Job Description

Additional positions now open! A Maintenance Technician will support operations at all Sparkle car wash locations in Easton, Stroudsburg, Mt Pocono and Whitehall (coming soon). A successful applicant will have an understanding of equipment maintenance, plumbing, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and general building maintenance. On the job training will be provided for specific car wash systems applications. Applicant will have the ability to work without supervision to accomplish maintenance and repair goals at the facilities. Candidate must be available to work a rotating weekend schedule.
Essential Duties:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on car wash systems. Troubleshoot failed equipment and provide recommended repair methods. Assist in repairs on general facility equipment and systems (i.e. car wash electrical, pumps, plumbing, doors, gate systems, conveyors, vacuum systems, etc.). Use organizational skills to keep work areas, parts inventory and tools neat and accountable. Respond to emergency or after-hour situations if they arise. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of maintenance programs and procedures. Working understanding of plumbing and pumps. Working understanding of electrical systems - MCC's, VFD's, & High/Low Voltage Control. Effective communication skills. Ability to pay special attention to detail. General knowledge of computer operations and software. Professional in appearance and character. Works well in a collaborative environment. High school diploma and 5+ years of experience in a maintenance role.
