Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job description Millwood is looking for an experienced Industrial maintenance technician at our Tunkhannock, PA location. Previous Industrial Maintenance experience is required . This position is based on experience. The maintenance technician is responsible for the full assessment and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues within the equipment and production lines to include PLCs, Pneumatics, hydraulics and HMIs in a fast-paced industrial operations environment. The position requires a candidate who is highly motivated and self-directed. Maintenance technicians are responsible for the safe and timely repair of operations equipment and production lines as well as maintaining shop organization and cleanliness. Candidates should be reliable and able to perform a number of job duties, including: maintenance and repair of all machinery and power units within the facility, electrical panels, conduit, fixtures etc. along with other maintenance and repair responsibilities. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous Maintenance experience in an industrial setting is required
• At least 1-2 years of successful experience in an industrial maintenance technician capacity
• Practical and Safe operation of hand tools and maintenance shop equipment
• LOTO knowledge and commitment to use
• Must be able to lift push/pull up to 50lbs.
• Good troubleshooting skills Able to work with electrical from 24v up to 480v.

Knowledge of:

Frequency drives Conveyor systems Hydraulics Pneumatics Light welding. PLC's (programming not required) Need to be organized and able to fill out purchase orders and order parts from our suppliers. Ability to read/understand blueprints and schematics a plus.
