Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a strong Maintenance Technician near Irvine PA. This position will maintain, troubleshoot, and perform repairs in a heavy industrial environment including but not limited to hydraulics and pneumatics, mobile equipment, electrical/electronic devices and controls, motors, overhead cranes, and large production machines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Abides by all safety regulations and work rules and applicable quality policies Meets required attendance standards Responsible for the accurate completion of documentation Complete preventive maintenance tasks Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance Inspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts using ruler calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work, Perform welding/fabricating as needed Use hoists, cranes, and hand powered tools to dismantle devices and or remove defective parts Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists Responsible for communicating stocking needs of parts and supplies Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished Performs other duties, assignments and projects as necessary
EXPEIENCE
Two-year technical certification or training in mechanical maintenance 2+ years applicable experience in a manufacturing environment Willingness to attend training for position which could include travel Experience with a range of electrical systems including 480v and 12v Experience with PLC's and CNC equipment Basic welding experience Experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment

$28.00 - $42.00 per hour
