Floor Technician will be expected to work on both residential and commercial floors ranging from carpet, tile & grout, hardwood, rugs, and more. Most jobs will take place Monday - Friday during the day with some Saturday and evening jobs as well. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of floors using appropriate methods. Conduct regular floor care maintenance, including stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing to preserve the longevity and appearance of flooring surfaces. Utilize specialized equipment for all kinds of floor cleaning needs. Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or damage. Document completed tasks Interact with customers before, during, and after the work is complete. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Skills Floor cleaning experience is preferred. Especially experience with carpet and tile & grout floors. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, buffing, stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing floors. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, extractors, vacuums, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly. Good with people and able to make customers feel both heard and cared for.
