Job Description

Fenceworks is seeking a motivated and skilled Automated Gate Installation Technician to join our growing team. This position focuses on the installation, setup, and servicing of automated driveway gates and access control systems for residential and commercial customers. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and capable of working independently and with a team. Prior experience in gate automation, fencing, welding, or low-voltage systems is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and construction background. Responsibilities Install automated gate systems and access control equipment Operate equipment including mini excavators, skid steers, and other construction machinery Perform welding and fabrication as needed Install conduit, trenching, wiring, and low-voltage components Troubleshoot and service automated gate operators and related systems Read and interpret site layouts and installation plans Work safely and professionally on residential and commercial job sites Communicate effectively with customers and team members Qualifications Experience in gate automation, fencing, construction, welding, or low-voltage systems preferred Ability to operate construction equipment Welding experience required Basic electrical and low-voltage knowledge preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying conditions Valid driver's license required Clean and professional appearance Ability to work independently and stay organized
Pay:
$20.00 - $40.00 per hour
