Transportation, Logistics, Trucking Description Regular inspection, troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and mechanical production equipment throughout the facility.- Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipment.
- Ensuring the compliance of all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while conducting work functions.
- Maintaining a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted.
- Efficiently managing time and completing all tasks assigned by the supervisory authority.
- Reporting damages, defects and other issues pertaining to electrical and mechanical units to the supervising manager.
- Documenting spare and replacement parts required and completing all necessary documentation for the same.
- Appropriately using and handling all electrical repair and testing tools and equipment.
- Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
- Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary:
$25.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift diff. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year maintenance experience In depth electrical and mechanical experience. Proficient in working with voltages from 24 volts to 480 volts. PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience. AVG (Automated Guided Vehicle) or LVG (Laser Guided Vehicle) experience. Knowledge of working with HMI's. Ability to work independently. Proficient in Preventative Maintenance tasks and services. Automation experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines. Sound understanding of using all electrical testing equipment. Ability to use efficiently various power and hand tools. Ability to operate a forklift. Should follow oral or written instructions. Team mindset. Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships. High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time.Similar jobs in White Haven, PA
