Independent Licensed Sign Installer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Independent Sign Installer for contractual sign installations and processing permits as required. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of signage solutions across multiple locations. Your expertise in construction, blueprint reading, and technical installation will ensure that all signage projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties Install a wide range of signs including illuminated, architectural, and custom signage using hand tools and power tools Responsible for processing any required permits Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute installation plans. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Manage the fabrication and assembly of sign components on-site or in the workshop as needed. Operate heavy equipment and scaffolding safely during installation processes on various construction sites. Perform restoration work, including touch-ups and repairs to existing signage or structures. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Valid licensing as a Sign Installer with proven experience in sign installation projects. Strong knowledge of construction management principles, estimating, and site safety protocols. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to signage and construction projects. Hands-on experience with various tools including hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation. Background in related fields such as plumbing, electrical work, masonry, carpentry, roofing, or concrete finishing is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction inspection procedures and quality control measures. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments while adhering to safety regulations.
