Job Description

Position Overview This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on the Corporate and Transportation facility, covering both interior and exterior structures, systems, and fixtures. Work involves a variety of skilled trades, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, locksmithing, flooring, electrical, welding, mechanical systems, and HVAC Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Conduct routine daily inspections and maintenance of building interiors and exteriors. Assist with and perform general maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across the facility. Support installation, maintenance, and repair work across multiple trades, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, welding, locksmithing, flooring, mechanics, and HVAC. Inspect property grounds and communicate with management regarding landscaping, cleanup, and general maintenance needs. Ensure and actively maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Support operational procedures to ensure customer value and regulatory compliance, including ISO standards and Lean Logistics principles. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Participate in all required training programs. Complete assigned work in a timely and professional manner. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Lean Logistics Center. Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and schedules. Perform other related job duties as assigned or required. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Equivalent or equivalent relevant experience. One year of experience as a semi-skilled worker in one or more of the basic building maintenance trades. Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools. PC literate with experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and usage of email. Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction. Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork. Ability to function with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks and prioritize daily work. Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work with others in a professional manner Physical Requirements This position requires the physical ability to: Stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to X hours, depending on shift) Sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed Climb stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds at various heights including ground-level and racking zones (occasionally/frequently) Reach with hands and arms overhead and below waist level Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Occasionally lift heavier items with or without assistance Use fine motor skills/manual dexterity to operate equipment, tools, or keyboards Frequently use hands and fingers to handle, grasp, or control objects See clearly at close range and at distance, with peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Hear and understand verbal instructions, alarms, and equipment signals in a noisy environment
Pay, Benefits & More Salary:
Your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Work Environment This position operates in a warehouse and distribution center environment. The employee is frequently exposed to: Varying temperatures, including but not limited to refrigerated or non-climate controlled areas Loud noise levels, such as machinery, forklifts, and conveyor systems Dust, odors, and airborne particles Concrete flooring and moving mechanical equipment Frequent exposure to powered industrial vehicles and warehouse traffic The employee is required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and high visibility vests Location/Remote Eligibility This role may be performed on-site only. Schedule Work hours may vary by shift assignment and may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs.
