Field Service Technician Location:

Amarillo, TX Pay Rate:

Hours:

40-50 per week | Long-Term Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Field Service (Maintenance) Technician to join our team in Amarillo, TX. This is a long-term position with steady hours and competitive pay in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (required) Assist with plumbing, welding, carpentry, and general facility repairs as needed Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports Support production and operations teams with technical expertise Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards

Requirements:

Plumbing:

Diagnosed and repaired leaks under sinks and restrooms, replaced toilet flush valves, and installed new supply lines in small office and retail environments.

Electrical:

Replaced damaged outlets and switches, upgraded lighting to LED fixtures, and ensured all repairs met NEC safety standards.

Doors & Hardware:

Repaired commercial metal doors, panic bars, and hydraulic door closers to maintain accessibility and fire-safety compliance.

Lighting:

Maintained interior and exterior lighting systems, including changing bulbs, ballasts, and troubleshooting non-operational circuits.

General Maintenance:

Completed preventive maintenance tasks such as inspecting HVAC filters, replacing ceiling tiles, patching drywall, and performing minor carpentry repairs. Must have reliable commercial-grade transportation (pickup truck or transit van) #ITS12
